Today I had the luxury of a little time, and was drawn outside by this texture that was waving at me from the railing through my kitchen window. The clouds were heavy, eliminating shadows, and making textures extremely difficult to photograph. The perfect challenge. I experimented with ISO, exposure, shooting in b/w, composition, and every light and color adjustment I could think of to create more contrast. In the end, there was very little difference. I chose this one because it reminded me of an Oreo Blizzard. SOMETHING had to break the tie! My set is here.

That is just so perfect!
Very nice; I enjoyed the entire set!
You got some great shots here, that I think capture the nature of this incredibly snowy winter beautifully! I love the detail in some of the snow shots. (Won't it be great when spring comes and these winter scenes are just a memory?)
This is great, Tracy! love the detail on the close-up snow...
Lovely!!! Very different from my 80-degree weather this week. :)
really cool, like this shot a whole lot because of the textures and play of dark and light
