Ben said something on Sunday about how the same people that celebrated Jesus' entry on Sunday shouted "Crucify him!" on Friday. As I was looking at the palm branch and thinking about that, I noticed stripes. How quickly the tide of public opinion can turn. May I be aware of this in myself.

It was a dark location with some indirect light against a very light background. I let the shutter stay open a few seconds while I turned it.
