Tonight our church held a Passover seder meal. It was led by a messianic rabbi who described the connections between the deliverance of the Jews from slavery in Egypt and the deliverance from sin that Jesus provided through his death and resurrection. We did a similar observance as a family last year, but it was very cool to get the teaching from the rabbi and share it with other church members.

I keep thinking I'm going to find a Seder one Easter, but certainly not this year. I love the history and meaning.
We participated in one several years ago and it was very moving.
