131/365 uneven path

DSC_8828

We had a blast of warm air today, and I took advantage by heading over to the zoo to spend the morning outdoors.  Seldom am I by myself, so I took time to stop in places where normally I would be rounding up my own herds.  This wall along the walking path compels them each and every time to climb up and use it as a balance beam.  They have to duck under branches to stay on, but there is always the relative security of the rope.

Love the comment. When your children are still at the ages where you are "herding" them, it does feel funny to not have them around, doesn't it?

Love the rugged texture of the rope. I miss taking my kids to the zoo! They're a little old for that sort of day trip now, and showing signs of interests other than zoology. ;-)

I like the sun on the rope. Nice shot.

The rope and posts really lead your eyes in. Happy that you had sunshine!
