I've never been a fan of hosta, and only in the last couple of years have I appreciated tiger lilies. But the other day I drove past a garden with blooming tiger lilies and hosta intermingled, no pattern, just there together. Breathtaking really. I'm sorry now that I ripped out all the hosta that was here when we moved in.
