I took photos as this young couple dedicated their son to the Lord.
Somehow, each time this happens, my favorite photo is the one
during the prayer.
As a mom
with all the hopes I have for my kids
and the desire of my heart to raise them with integrity
as I teach them truth about their world
and their creator,
I am thankful that the Spirit intercedes for us
when we don't know how to pray--
and that we are invited to come to Him even in our silence.
I am also thankful for the church family
who stands beside us
and fills in many of our gaps
with their own gifts.
