I love your experimenting! It's hard to catch and secondly, focus on the drop/splash isn't it? You got some good motion in the water and stop motion droplets. A great experiment!
One thing that helped me was to put a pencil tip where the water was going to drop so I could have a focus point. Then I let the water flow and shot.
